Eight views of Havana squares and streets. These works are 160 cm high and anything from 240 to 720 cm wide
The drawings produced between 2006 and 2008 focus
particularly on two Havana locations:
Parque de la Fraternidad
Americana (Pan-American Fraternity Park).
A well kept park in the centre of Havana, directly adjacent to the
Capitol Building. All the main bus lines stop here. These mighty
vehicles – popularly referred to as "camel" on account of
their
shape – were withdrawn from service in the spring of 2008 and
replaced by articulated buses made in China.
Calle 25 (25th Street).
This street is situated in Vedado, Havana’s nicest district.
Vedado is a residential area perched on a hill that stretches out along
the ocean front, with countless villas representing every imaginable
style and even a few smart blocks of flats dating back to the thirties,
forties and fifties of the last century.
